Introductory workshop to the illustrated journal ✏️📖
Come learn how to tell the story of your days with little drawings!
This workshop offers a first introduction to the illustrated journal: together, we will explore what it is, what it can be used for, and how to make it your own so that it reflects who you are.
Throughout the workshop, I will share tips and tricks for creating a journal that you will want to keep up with over time, without the pressure of needing a perfect result or the obligation of being consistent. The idea is to find your own way of doing things: noting, drawing, gluing, narrating, experimenting... or simply keeping a record of your surroundings.
We will also cover some simple concepts of drawing and scrapbooking, with short exercises and creative prompts to compose your pages and let your imagination run wild.
No prerequisites required: you don't need to know how to draw here! The most important thing is simply to have the desire to experiment and create a journal that reflects you.
Duration: 45 mins
Registration will open on October 1, 2026, and the number of spots is limited to 10 per workshop. You must have a festival admission ticket (day or weekend) to book, as your order number will be required in the registration form.
