Antonio Reinhard Wisesa

Antonio Reinhard Wisesa is an illustrator from Indonesia, with eyes for details and narrative cohesion within his works, unrelenting passion for research of a new knowledge for him to apply into his arts. He will be attending Yllustratown to present an exhibition of his work and his graphic novel project, *Mutja*.

In the imagined year 5000, society is transformed by the Ambrasta — mysterious objects created 2,000 years earlier by a being with twelve pairs of hands. Ambrastas can copy anything, organic or inorganic, and because every person owns one, the world has shifted into a post-scarcity society where people live with abundance, but without excess. At the center of this future stands Nayandra, the capital of Mitreka, a fictional nation shaped heavily bySoutheastt Asianculture. Nayandra is guided by the Mahapatih Paramitta and Mahapatih — leaders and guardians who balance society's needs. But beyond councils and technology, the story is also deeply personal. We follow Mutja, whose life reveals the emotional heart of this imagined future. But, as the first immortal, Mutja is caught in a debate over whether to publicize the means of immortality — a choice that could allow anyone who wishes to live eternally, and one that could reshape society forever.

These works strike a balance between the vast scope of utopia and the delicacy of human gestures, reminding us that even in times of abundance, it is memory and tenderness that define what it means to be alive.
